Where Did The Religion Start?

Islam started since the beginning of this world. First Adam(PBUH) was sent, later whenever man goes towards evil Allah sent messengers for preaching and bringing back on the right path. All the Messengers came for a particular area or community while the last prophet Mohammad(PBUH) came for the entire mankind, and after that no prophet will come according to Quran. Abraham(PBUH), David(PBUH), Moses(PBUH) and Christ(PBUH) were the prophets of islam, who came with the same teachings of calling towards one God(Allah), as He is superior and merciful and other than Him nobody can harm and profit you. As time passed people started calling them the sons of God(Judaism & christianity) and shown the wrong meaning of their teaching for personal benefits and worldly profits.


One God or Many Gods?

Muslims only believe in one God, Allah. The Koran is the absolute word of God. They believed

that if anyone harmed others, god will punish them.

What Are The Five Pillars?

The Five Pillars of Islam: faith, prayer, fasting, pilgrimage, and alms.

Allah's characteristics are very merciful, forgiving, and powerful.

Allah represents the moon. Islam's sacred writings are Koran, Hadith, and Sufi Texts.

Islam's Worship what?

Islam's worship God according to two wings. The first wing is adopting the five pillars of Islam.

Sustainer of the worlds; most Gracious, most Merciful; Master of the day of judgment. Thee

do worship, and thine aid we seek. Show us the strait way, the way of those on whom Thou

hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose is not wrath, and who go not astray.

Muhammad (Pbuh) is the founder of islam. He founded the religion in 610 A.D.

What Are The Main Symbols of Islam?

The crescent moon and star symbol actually pre-dates Islam by several thousand years. Information on the
origins of the symbol are difficult to ascertain, but most sources agree that these ancient celestial symbols
were in use by the peoples of Central Asia and Siberia in their worship of sun, moon, and sky gods.
There are also reports that the crescent moon and star were used to represent the Carthaginian goddess Tanit or the
Greek goddess Diana.

What Are Islam's Religious Festivals?

Islam has two major religious festivals. They are 'Id-al-Fitr, and 'Id al-ADha. 'Id-al-Fitr,more commonly called Id,is
celebrated at the end of the month of Ramadan-the ninth of the Islamic calender. 'Id al-ADha is celebrated at the
end of Hajj-the religious pilgrimage.
